David Wells has been involved in commercial and residential mortgage financing since 1981. He offers extensive expertise in real estate acquisition, marketing, disposition and debt structuring alternatives, plus the breadth of experience that comes from 30 years of working with all types of client requirements. His attention to detail and outstanding customer communication eliminates the surprises that can sometimes arise when working with less experienced mortgage professionals.

Prior to joining ViewPoint Mortgage, David was a founding partner of Bankers Financial Mortgage Group, acquired by ViewPoint Bank in 2007.

David holds a B.B.A. and M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Texas in Austin.
