Doug Scott has more than 30 years of mortgage and commercial banking experience. His responsibilities include residential mortgage origination, industry professional education and community outreach.

Prior to joining ViewPoint, Doug served as the chief regional executive for the nation's largest mortgage company, overseeing its largest territory with over 50 locations throughout Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico. During Doug's tenure, his region's workforce doubled in size and its production increased by over 60%. Doug has been recognized by the Austin Business Journal as a top-ranked mortgage executive in Central Texas for three years.

He is 2010 Past President of Austin Mortgage Bankers Association, Board Member of the Homebuilders Association of Greater Austin, affiliate member with the Austin Board of Realtors®, and Board-certified by the Texas Veterans Housing Assistance Program.
